For this reason, many women are now choosing to birth “outside the system” where ultimately, you have complete ownership over your birth.

Our culture though, holds on to so much FEAR around birth,

there are so many “what if’s”.

and we’ve been made too feel like this is a reckless and dangerous choice.

But here’s the thing…

The reality is, staying home and giving birth without a medical profession can feel like a really scary choice,

especially if you’ve never given birth before.

There’s a level comfort in having someone with experience by your side, someone whose understands birth, who can guide you and reassure you along they way.

Hello beautiful woman. My name is Jennifer. I am a homebirthing, unschooling mama of four, a wife, an acupuncturist and advanced energy healer.

After my first baby was born, I knew I had a passion for birth and serving women. I decided I wanted to pursue midwifery school. At the time I was in school to become an acupuncturist and it just wasn’t working out like I had hoped.

time passed and after two more babies with midwives, my eyes opened up to the industry and I was drawn to having a pregnancy and birth completely outside the system.

My fourth pregnancy was the most relaxing and stress free, no unnecessary worry and purely tuning into my intuition and my body.

I gave birth to my beautiful boy in my bathtub, with only my husband and mother present, in just over 3 hours while my kids were sleeping.

This experience drove my passion even more, and now I am excited to support the powerful women of my community, who feel called to birth in their power, their way, in the absence of any medical provider or health professional.

Placenta Tincture

Made by infusing a high proof alcohol with a piece of your placenta. Placenta tincture is shown to support postpartum mothers in the same way as capsules, however it has a much longer shelf life.

why sovereign birth?

Birth is a sacred experience. It can be powerful and transformational.

However, the unfortunate truth is that our medical system (including medical midwifery) doesn’t have a solid understanding of physiological birth.

The entire model of obstetrics and midwifery is designed to disrupt the natural occurrings of birth, and in the shadow of “safety”, ends up sabotaging many birth experiences.

Leaving women feeling shame, regret and lingering trauma from their birth experiences.

With an obstetrician or midwife your birth experience may be confined to specific protocols that they deem necessary & aren’t actually based off evidence.

Things like VBAC, multiples, your age, your weight, the shape of your pelvis, the babies size, etc. may result in you being told you cannot have a home birth. That you are high risk.

This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Your body is incredible and it isn’t broken! Reguardless of your history, age or any of these factors you are built to birth your baby.
